SUPPORT THE ARTIST

Something in us responds to a thing made with care: the depth of a color, the trace of a brushstroke, an image that gives form to what we have felt but could not name. Whether we create ourselves or simply love beauty, art speaks to that part of us—and carries it forward. A painting that may speak across centuries begins with an artist who has the time and means to make it. From the Renaissance onward, patrons have helped make that possible. Much of the art we treasure today exists because someone believed it was worth giving an artist the freedom to create. Your patronage gives Katherine Berg Morrison the materials, time, and independence to paint with care and conviction. It is a way of taking part in the creative act: helping bring something into being that may still move someone long after we are gone.
